DEDoes mobile, wireless and IOT development within the realm of communications solutions for Electronic Warfare sound interesting? Chora A/S is looking for a Telecom & Signal Processing Engineer for our newly acquired headquarters in Aarhus.
YOUR ROLE
You will join a team of passionate Software Engineers, who handle development processes ranging from requirements assessment, initial analysis and design, coding, implementation, and testing. The team works with a wide range of technologies including Python, GIT, WPF etc. However, the most applied technologies are C++ and C#. The Scrum methodology is used for organizing tasks and projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will have a key role in our R&D department. Your focus will be on the physical-layer elements of the development, which presumes knowledge of:
▪ Signal processing algorithm development and optimization
▪ Error correcting codes, such as convolutional, block, turbo and/or LDPC codes, their algorithms and implementation
▪ Baseband algorithms for synchronization and tracking, such as equalizer algorithms
▪ Building Monte-Carlo simulations to evaluate algorithm performance
▪ Digital communications from voice encoders over demodulation and decoders to physical protocol layers
YOUR PROFILE
Preferably, you have a master’s degree in computer science or similar, and your background could be wireless communications, electronic engineering, Physics, or a related field. You have 3-5 years of experience.
You are a skilled C++ developer, and you have practical experience with SciPy Programming. Experience with VHDL / GPU development is a plus but not a requirement.
You enjoy working closely with your colleagues as well as independently, and you communicate fluently in English and Danish.
The job requires that you have a clean criminal record, and that you are a Danish citizen or you have lived in Denmark for at least the last 7 years.
